What We Do

The UC Davis Math Project (UCDMP) is a regional site of the California Mathematics Project (CMP), one of nine California Subject Matter Projects (CSMP). UCDMP is a TK-16 educator network, dedicated to improving student learning through standards-based and framework-aligned professional learning in mathematics.
We work with schools and districts to design and implement professional learning programs in mathematics, customized to meet the needs of local educators and their students. These customized programs offer school-based programming in districts across northern California. During the 2025-26 school year, for example, we are providing customized support to both individual schools and entire districts in Yolo, Yuba, Solano, Alameda, and Napa counties.
We strive to improve mathematics instruction for all teachers and their students.
